Why did you decide to join NHC?

I became passionate about public health and community health during my undergraduate studies. I want to bring what I learned and apply it to the real world setting of NHC Chicago and serve the community on issues I am passionate about.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I am hoping to learn about the demographic of the people I serve in Chicago. I also am hoping to learn about different interventions from a public health standpoint that can contribute to bettering the overall well-being of the community. Lastly, I hope to take and apply what I learn to my future endeavors.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

Getting to know the community of Chicago, from both a cultural and health standpoint.
