The mission of the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) is to protect and promote health and well-being for all in San Francisco. Population Health is one of two divisions with which SFDPH strives to achieve its mission. The goal of Population Health is to ensure San Franciscans have optimal health and wellness at every stage of life. The Division is dedicated to core public health services: health protection and promotion, disease and injury prevention, disaster preparedness and response and environmental health services.
