Where are you from?

I’m from Los Altos, CA but lived in Madison, WI for four years while attending college!

Why did you decide to join NHC?

I joined NHC because I hope to pursue a career in medicine and wanted to deepen my understanding of diverse healthcare needs through serving the community.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I hope to expand my knowledge of the healthcare system and learn about what programs and services exist to meet the needs of vulnerable populations in San Francisco. I’m also looking forward to developing my skills in community outreach and health education during my service term.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

Getting to know people in my cohort and host site, engaging with the community, and exploring San Francisco!
