Where are you from? 

Clearfield, Pennsylvania

Why did you join NHC Pittsburgh?

I joined NHC Pittsburgh because I wanted to because I have family and roots in the Pittsburgh area, and I wanted to learn about the problems the community faces and help find ways to combat them. I want to bring access to care to underserved members of the community and combat social determinants of health.

What do you hope to gain or learn during your service term?    

I hope to learn about the challenges which are facing the community and learn new ways to advocate for members of the community. I hope to learn new ways to advocate for access to care for everyone in the community and to advocate for the importance of mental health and wellness.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?            

I am looking forward to working with the care team and helping neglected members of the community.
