Where are you from? I was born in the southeastern part of South Korea called Ulsan where I grew up until I immigrated to America in 2011.

Why did you decide to join NHC? 
I wanted to learn more about communicating with underserved populations and how to serve their needs in a way that I can as a recent college graduate.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?
I am hoping to understand the disparities in health care access that exists in various populations and small steps I can take individually to help address them.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
I am looking forward to connecting with like-minded members who share the goal of improving healthcare for the vulnerable patient populations as well as gaining a deeper understanding of and ways to address the disparities in healthcare access.
