Why did you decide to join NHC?
I wanted more experience engaging in a diverse patient population and the opportunity to increase my community engagement before applying to medical school! 

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?
I am hoping to gain a better sense of where the healthcare system can improve by listening to patients that are underrepresented and underserved so that I can be a better advocate for them in my future career. 

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
I am most looking forward to becoming connected with the community in Philadelphia
