Why did you decide to join NHC?

I decided to join NHC because I have a passion for community service and healthcare. I applied to my specific position because I really enjoy working with students and guiding them in any way that I can. NHC presented me with a unique opportunity to continue working with students while also learning more about healthcare and propelling myself forward in the field.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I am hoping to learn more about the nonprofit side of healthcare. Additionally, I am hoping to gain a deeper understanding of how the social determinants of health play into student’s everyday school life. 

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am looking forward to building strong relationships with the students and staff that I will get to work with!
