Opioid Use Care Coordinator

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in the Bay Area and spent most of my childhood in San Ramon, CA.

Why did you decide to join NHC?

NHC aligns with my background and commitment to community health. During my undergrad, I had witnessed the numerous issues in healthcare and social services that patients face. Through the NHC, I hope to continue addressing health issues and enhancing public health with a dedicated and supportive community organization.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I am eager to gain a deeper understanding of specific public health areas such as opioid use disosorder as well as enhance my communication skills through interacting with the SF community. I also hope to improve my collaboration skills and contribute to community health initiatives with the NHC.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I am excited to meet everyone from this cohort and build connections with the San Francisco community and the NHC!
