Why did you decide to join NHC?

As someone who is passionate about public health, NHC stood out to me because of its community-based, equity-based, approach to health.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term?

I'm hoping to gain a deeper understanding of public health issues in Chicago, as well as how to effectively help empower others in their health through my role as a health educator.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?

I'm most looking forward to connecting with my host site and learning from others throughout my service term.
