Why did you decide to join NHC? 
I loved the mission and the staff at this organization; I saw the ability to work in my home community while continuing my own personal and professional growth.

What are you hoping to gain or learn during your service term? 
I wanted to gain experience and a deeper understanding of community health in preparation to apply to preventive medicine residency while giving back to the community I'm from.

What are you most looking forward to during your service term?
Coming back to the city I grew up in while learning a new skill set working with a refugee population that I have less experience with.
