Originally from Dallas, TX, Christian joined the National Health Corps in San Francisco in the attempt to contribute meaningfully to society and do his part to help mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As an aspiring physician, Christian has long come to understand that service begins well before medical school, and he hopes to make a significant impact during his service term. As a COVID-19 Responder & Whole Person Integrated Care/Shelter-In-Place Coordinator at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Christian will strive to expand access to healthcare and provide resource security during the pandemic, especially as it relates to the local homeless population. It is Christian’s personal understanding that one’s health is intrinsically tied to one’s quality of life, and that medicine lives to serve and to heal.
